Beneath the Surface is about a girl named Violet who is struggling with depression. Her father just died and she is visited by a monster who fuels her decline.

my goal is not only to display my group members’ work because they are great to work with but also I want to raise awareness for the huge amount of people who act like they are okay but are struggling beneath the surface.

One of the most fun scenes to film was the scene where Violet throws the book at the monster because it was cool seeing how it would look different to the audience, but we knew exactly how it was filmed and how it looked in real life.

Students need opportunities to branch out and express their creativity, In ways that they generally wouldn’t have been comfortable with before being presented with the opportunities.

The time constraints were so hard and we had a member of our group who unfortunately missed a couple filming sessions so we had we had to rush our project a lot and work out solutions but I think it turned out good in the end

Give yourself as much time as possible. you need to make sure that you’re prepared for something to come up or for something to not work and if you can do that then you’re set but until you do that You face the risk of something going wrong and having to crunch for time.
