Gracie finds out her boyfriend isn’t treating her well, and befriends outgoing Steph while she deals with her relationship turmoil. Steph is keeping a big secret from her.

I want people to be able to relate to at least one of the characters in the film, whether they’ve experienced a toxic relationship, or been the close friend of someone in one. I hope that my film inspires self empowerment and an appreciation for friendships.

We had a blast filming the after party scene, mostly because we were actually blasting music along with the party lighting. The atmosphere was was very lively and realistic

Film Prize Jr. gives low budget and amateur film-makers a place to show their work where it can be compared to similar competition. It inspires young film students to want to create more and grow their goals.

One of the obstacles we faced was making sure we didn’t have any plotholes, and also audio. We would be editing and realize that we forgot a transition scene and we had to improvise. Also, some of the dialogue audio came out morphed but we did a lot of patchwork in post production.

Make sure you have your story completely mapped out, and that you can envision every single shot you want to have.
