Girls in a small town are disappearing one by one, are the town whispers true?

We hope they are a little creeped out. It is based on a made up legend.

The scene I had the most fun filming was the chase scene. It was fun filming and we even scared ourselves a little while filming.

Opportunities like this are important for middle schoolers to learn because it teaches something that can be turned into a career in the future. Middle schoolers can choose to take film classes in high school and this is a good opportunity to learn about what it takes to make a short film. The film industry is a big part of New Mexico’s economy and it is only going to grow. It is good to start kids early learning about this exciting industry to give them a head start.

Sound. Forgetting to watch the takes and check the sound. The wind and covering the mic can really affect sound!
Since we didn’t have nice equipment to work with, we only had an old iPad to film on. It would have been nice to have real film equipment and learn how to use it. We only got some stuff the day of the shoot and only the mentor used it. It was not very educational to know what we were using or doing.
It is a lot of work to make even a short film and we needed to take it more seriously at the beginning so we won’t be rushing at the end.
Also the editing. We need more help and guidance on the editing. We lucked out because we used an iPad and just used iMovie.

A few things:
1. Have the script done EARLY.
2. Start planning EARLY
3. Be and stay organized!
4. Communicate and make sure everyone does their job
5. It can get stressful but remember to have FUN!
