What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
I would like them to experience joy and suspense.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
I loved filming the boat scene. It was fun watching people mess up and then it all came back together.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
It sparks a filming bug inside of me that I can’t deny. I would not have known I have this until I had this opportunity.
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
People not knowing their lines! I learned that actors need to know their lines in advance.
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
Don’t wait until the last minute!
