What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
That the acequias are a very important part of northern New Mexico but the modern world is changing it and it’s very sad.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
It was really fun to interview my family. I learned so much about them I didnt know before and it was super cool to get to know them better.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
It helps you learn new skills like editing.
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
I feel like organizing when to meet up to film and edit was hard. Also making the audio for the movie sound good.
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
To stay organized and be patient with your editing.
