What do you want the audience to take away from the film?

We would like for people to know that San Felipe is strong in its traditions as well as its resources to young tribal members.

Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?

The scene that was most fun, was filming Joe, because we learned a lot about him and his work with the community.

Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?

Its important because, this gives us an opportunity to experience what filming is about and if its something that we can do in the future.

What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?

Time was the biggest factor as well as transportation.
We learned there are a lot of part to creating a film. We learned how to edit, conduct interviews, camera angles, lighting & story-telling.

What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?

Start early, don’t operate on Indian Time.
Find a way around your challenges.
