FILMMAKER INTERVIEW

What do you want the audience to take away from the film?

Something about this short Film is that it represents Love & Relationships and Power & Corruption. Ben is the one that represents power & corruption because he’s older he gets to tease his brother and bully him. Mateo represents love & relationship because he has a crush on Jasmine.

Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?

I had a fun time filming all of it. The most interesting scene was the fight scene. It was very action packed and very entertaining to watch them figure it out.

Some obstacles that my filming crew ran into were issues with the sound, issues with time, people not paying attention, some not cooperating, some not doing their work and many more things. It was hard when some people don’t want to do things but luckily we fixed those issues and we all collaborated and worked together to get the film we have today.I learned many things while making this short film. I learned how to communicate with others, I learned how to collaborate with my peers, I learned how important everyone’s role plays while making a movie/short film and I also learned that I have to deal with things that I may not like. There was a time while making the film when I wanted to leave but I did not. It turned out to be a very good decision because now, the film has turned into something that we are all very proud of.
