There is a new kid in town. He is hoping to have a fresh start to the year. He decides to join a club in his new school, but little does he know that the future holds a great misfortune.
FILMMAKER INTERVIEW
What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
To be entertained. I want them to know how hard we all worked on this film, also how fun film making can be.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
The running scene because it was one of the best at the end. I had the most fun filming the scene where I see my dead family members.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
Film stuff is a possible future job. It will help me get my name out there if I want to continue acting.
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
It was annoying that I had to do camera work. I learned that I don’t want to direct again. Doing the editing or just doing other work besides filming. I learned that there are a lot of challenges.
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
Have enough camera people and don’t let a camera guy be an actor. Work hard and get your work done and make sure to have fun.
