Two best friends, Cat and Bianca, find a journal of things they want to do before they graduate, and they try their best to do them all with their friends.
FILMMAKER INTERVIEW
What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
That even if you are in high school or graduating, that you can still connect to your friends and the things you enjoy.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
There is a get-ready scene I did with Angie, and it was really fun because I go to play around with the set-up and lighting. We got to reference one of our favorite films.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
They get you to explore stuff out of your comfort zone and expand on film-related things outside of school.
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
Scheduling and time were huge barriers, especially since we’re all super busy juniors and seniors, and none of us live near each other. I learned to definitely have a more thorough plan before filming.
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
Try your best not to be a perfectionist.
