In the movie “In Between Classes” written by Michael Hein and Caleb McDaris, two characters are walking the halls of their High School like they would any other day, but on this day, Caleb had a strange encounter. Later, Caleb comes to find out that he and Belen are being followed by their doppelgangers. He then wakes up in a fearful and alarmed way, while realizing it was all a dream.

I want everyone who watches it to get a good laugh from our movie. The idea was to try and put a smile on someone’s face when they needed one.

The last scene was my favorite to film.

This is important to me because it gives me and my group the opportunity to do things that most students and adults don’t get to do. Movie production takes a lot of coordination, creativity, teamwork, and ideas. I think everyone can take away something from making a short film that can or will help them in the future.

The biggest obstacle was the audio for us. We learned that you want to get the audio perfect before going to postproduction, we refilmed parts of our movie multiple times and decided that although our audio is not the best it is the best that we can do with what we had at the time.

Make sure your group is really invested in the project. And make sure you love what you’re filming.
