After discovering the zila stone, Dr. Montoya combines it with the Deva Dhara and must travel throughout the multiverse to return home.

In life we will have to face obstacles that make us take on a new perspective in life. Sometimes our perspective may change so much that we get lost, like we just got put into a new world. We must never stop in the face of such a challenge, the key is to continue on, set your goals and aspirations. A new world is a new opportunity to grow, or a new opportunity to fail. Whichever happens never stop going, we are made stronger through these experiences.

The scene we recorded at white sands was my favorite experience. It was full of unexpected challenges that made us appreciate the footage we were able to get out of it in the end.

Us as students still have our whole lives ahead of us and as a result are unsure about where we want to head in life. Even if in the future we don’t choose filming as our career path we still gain one important thing—experience.

The biggest challenge we faced was in the creation of the script. We had written a compelling story in our film treatment but we had a hard time bringing our vision to life in the script. There were so many specifics we would think of, music, foley noise, visual effects, audio, and visuals that our script was lacking in the story. In the end we learned to take the creation of the film one step at a time.

Start as early as possible, give yourself more time to work on the small details for your short film. With more time to revise, re-shoot or edit the more of a chance you have at bringing your creative vision to life.
